Memorable weather events usually happen in winter.
In winter, lots of snow falls and roads are slick.
Two winters ago there was an accident.
The night before, it rained a little and the roads were frozen slightly, but I was unaware.
When I went to work, I crossed the street a crosswalk with my backpack, and I suddenly slipped and fell on my backside.
I jumped to my feet and continued on my way.
I was ashamed that in rush hour many drivers saw me fall.
Since that accident, I go to work wearing sneakers.
It’s comfortable and safe.
