제목 Today, What I wanted to say.... 등록일 2016-07-07
내용 Hi. Tristan~

I was very glad about your prompt reply.
It's very helpful to me, especially about the business expression like 'marternity leave'.

And I have questions today too.

When I was talking about weekend's plan, I wanted to say "I expect to go a water park.".
I forgot the word "expect" at that time, and now I'm confused whether it is proper word in that case or not.
I meant that I'm waiting it.

One more, you corrected what I said;"My daughter feels hard to apart from me every morning." to "I thinkd it's hard for my daughter to part ways with me every morning."
Thank you for your correction. I learn the word "part ways".
I wonder if there is difference between 'apart from' and 'part ways'.

Sorry for bothering you and thank you!

Have a nice day~~~~~

First thing first you're not bothering me with these requests as a matter a fact I'm glad that you're doing this because it shows initiative and with that you can go to a lot of places in life; now as far as your corrections go........

I expect to go a water park = incorrect;   " I expect to go *to a water park " = Correct; the only thing you left out was the prepostion ' TO.

However; it's a better fit to express this expression in its ' FUTURE TENSE ' form which is:  " I am expecting to go to water park this weekend. "

In regards to your feelings about whether ' EXPECT ' was the correct or proper word to use for this given expression you were correct so just trust your gut instict more; if you're wrong well that's what I'm here for never be afrarid to make mistakes because mistakes are how we learn and grow as people.

And lastly the phrase " Part Ways " and the word " Apart " have the same meaning, but if you are persistant with using the word, " Apart " then let's try:

" My daugther feels like it is hard for her to be apart from me in the mornings. "

Hope this helps Joey!

Peace,

Teacher Tristan
