They made our country as colony. Japan influenced Korea's culture, language and so on. There are still a lot of trail that Japan influenced Korea. If you look up Korean dictionary, you can see it derives from Japanese dictionary. Someday we have to be independent from Japan's culture. US is the biggest nation of Korea's ally. US affects Korea in terms of economy, political, military etc. Korea hip hop culture has stemed from US. At that time, hip hop culture was minor. Only a few people were interested in it. "Get on like a house on fire" means "become intimate IN A VERY SHORT TIME" according to internet dictionary.
