Young people and early retirees try to study to be civil servants or open new restaurants.
Gumi and Pohang city in Gyeongbuk had major companies, but they moved to other cities and many workers lost their jobs.
Pohang city was famous for steel, but that is a competitive industry with other countries like China and profits dwindled.
It will be hard for these cities to survive if the government doesn’t set up special measures.
The world economy is connected country-to-country and they affect each other.
I wish every country on Earth lives happily and well.
