Last year, there was North Korea's Food sharing day near my neighborhood.

-Last year, South-North Korea food sharing day was held near my neighborhood.

The theme was how North Korean dishes like such as traditional type of mashed potato pizza, sauted tofu and herb mixed rice.

-The event  displayed North Korean dishes such as traditional mashed potato pizza, sauted tofu and herbed mixed rice.

From early morning, the tutors and volunteers prepared ingredients, bowls, dishes and chopsticks.

There were defactants and they explained how the foods are prepared and north korean live during cold winter.

-The North Korean defectors were showcasing how their foods were prepared and how these dishes were important for survival during the cold winter.

The weather was somewhat chilly though, the festivity was flared up and spread through the event. Over 60 years, South and North Korea have been separated and widened unique political and economical status.

We hope consistently share the culture and contribute to unification of Korea in the near future
