내용 | Hi, Lyndsay! How was your weekend? Here in South Korea, it was raining during the whole weekend. I have a question about the following the sentences. which one is correct? Are there any differences in meaning? 1. It will take more time to review the data. 2. It will take more time (for??) reviewing the data. Thank you and regards, Jaehyun |

첨삭 내용 | Hi Jaehyun. The weather was very nice in New Jersey this weekend. It was warm and sunny with a light breeze and blue sky. I enjoyed sitting outside, playing frisbee with my dog. Thank you for asking. As for your question, both sentences have the same meaning, but the first: "It will take more time to review the data", sounds better. If there is a lot of data to review, you may want to say: "It will take more time to review all of the data." Take care, Lyndsay |
