Metaverse is a first appeared concept mentioned by US SF writer Neal Stephenson in novel Snow Crash in 1992. In this novel, Metaverse refers to virtual world that can only enter through Avatar.

Metaverse first appeared as a concept mentioned by the  Amercian SF author Neal Stephenson in his novel "Snow Crash", published in 1992. In the novel, Metaverse refers to a virtual world that can only be entered through an Avatar.
