First, sports players don't have to worry about their finances. So they concentrate on developing their sports talents and skills.
Second, they would be more proud of representing and supported national level.
People also more interested in their representation and cohesion
Third, if private companies fund it, they focus on popular sports such as football, swimming and Judo.
So unpopular sports are not spotlited and diversity of sports developmnets would be reduced.
