I'm a civil servant in Busan. I've been working for my company for about a year now. My main responsibility is to assist our staff with their tax process. It's quite challenging because nobody else in our company knows how to do my job, so if I have a problem, I have to call the tax office, check the law of tax and do some research on the internet and I feel very overwhelmed when there is a sudden change with my tasks. The worst drawback is that the salary of new employees is lower than the other companys. However, one of the perks of this job is that I can take advantage of the various welfare policies made by the government.
